Automatic Water Extinguishing
Sprinkler systems are fixed, automatically activated extinguishing systems consisting of a network of pipes installed under the roof or ceiling and maintained under pressure. Only the area of the fire where the sprinkler head(s) were activated will be sprayed. Requested by insurers and major clients or required by safety standards depending on the company's activity or establishment classification, Automatic Water Sprinkler Systems are designed to:
- Detect incipient fires (using the heat-sensitive element of the sprinkler head)
- Sound an alarm (locally and remotely)
- Extinguish (Extinguishing mode) or Contain the fire (Control mode) while waiting for emergency services to arrive
To improve the effectiveness of fire protection using a Water Sprinkler System, particularly for Class B fires, the injection of AFFF (Floating Film Forming Agent) foam concentrate into extinguishing systems is increasingly being used.
All our sprinkler systems are designed according to a standard (standard, decree, regulation, etc.), after analyzing the current and future fire risk of a building or part of a building, and defined by incorporating the specific construction features (types of structures, presence and classification of partitions and false ceilings, frost-risk areas, etc.) of the areas to be protected.
For each project, we are able to:
- Determine the required water flow rate, the number and type of sprinkler heads to be installed, the pipe diameter, the sizing of the water source at the required flow rate, etc.
- Study the feasibility of investments
- Carry out the complete installation installation
- Train the designated personnel to monitor the installation and carry out initial interventions
- Accept and ensure the issuance of the certificate or attestation of compliance with the required standard
- Periodically inspect, monitor, and maintain the systems regularly.
