Fire Station
A fire station (P.I) is a water-powered first aid facility for firefighting, usable by qualified or unqualified personnel.
The role of a P.I. installation is to enable an initial emergency response in firefighting, while waiting for resources to be deployed.
Unless this is impossible, P.I.s must be supplied by a pressurized water pipe served by public utilities.
A new designation, adopted at the European level, takes into account the internal diameter of the pipe as well as that of the discharge port:
P.I.s are designated by their nominal diameter (in mm): DN 40/45 - 20-30M
Intended for large complexes, hospitals, hotels, large performance venues, department stores, workshops, warehouses, etc.
